I Refuse to Participate

Yesterday spoke with a realtor who is convinced the world economy as we know it is coming to an end. Forclosures are rising, sales are down, unemployment is raging, banks are failing, 401K's and other savings are imploding, and he has no hope for his income potential for 2009.

I was left with a empty feeling in the pit of my stomach. I too follow the markets closely. Our economy does face deep seated issues that are now careening almost out of control.

Today I am back at work and with a new and hopeful determination to succeed regardless of outside factors. While I can't prevent the markets from doing what they may, I CAN control my attitude.

I have great clients with strong businesses who realize that this market is full of opportunities. I am working with lenders who are closing loans every day. I am familiar with SBA lending, conventional lending, stated lending and virtually every other financing program for small business owners.

Together we can take the steps needed to succeed.

I refuse to participate in this Depression and industry wide malaise, not because I don't understand the challenges, but because I am determined to succeed despite them.
